Mar. 2003 – Mar. 2006: Postdoctoral fellow, Department of Chemical Engineering, Laval University, Quebec, Canada.

Nov. 2001 – Feb. 2003: Associate Professor, Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences, Chinese Academic of Science.

Research interests: 


Synthesis, characterization, and application of novel catalytic materials such as microporous zeolites, mesoporous materials, and high surface area perovskites

Removals of series of air pollutants especially coming from chemical industry, including catalytic combustion of nitriles (acrylonitrile, acetonitrile), N2O direct decomposition, NOx catalytic reduction by ammonia and hydrocarbons

Mechanism study by in-situ infrared technique and temperature programmed analysis as well as theoretical DFT calculation.

Investigation of special oxygen species by isotope oxygen adsorption/exchange method.
